BELLE Vue youngster Will Cairns is relishing the prospect of making his Cab Direct British Final debut on home territory this Saturday.
17-year-old Cairns has been a big part of the ATPI Aces’ table-topping success this season in the Rising Star berth, and now he gets the opportunity to compete in the showpiece national championship, live on ITV4 and ITVX.
Cairns said: “I’m really happy to qualify. Obviously I wanted to do well in the Under-21s and also the Under-19s, but it’s very cool to qualify for the main British Final.
“I don’t have any expectations, these are the best riders in Great Britain and I’m honoured to be part of the line-up, and I’m going to do my best and see where I end up.
“I’m starting to think the Belle Vue fans like me, and I’ll be riling them up for sure!”
