BELLE Vue are delighted to confirm a weekend date for the 2026 British Final at the National Speedway Stadium.

The meeting will take place on Saturday August 15 (7pm) as the country’s top stars battle for the prestigious national crown.

Last year’s event culminated in what is widely regarded as one of the greatest speedway races of all time with multiple lead changes between all four riders in the Final before Robert Lambert took the honours ahead of Charles Wright, Dan Bewley and Chris Harris.

ATPI Aces star Bewley will be seeking a fourth British title having completed a hat-trick in 2022-24, and he has finished on the podium six times in total.

Tickets will be on sale in April, and the line-up will be confirmed following the semi-final which takes place at Leicester on Sunday June 21.

Aces CEO Mark Lemon said: “This will be our eleventh successive staging of the event, and we’re proud that the National Speedway Stadium is the established home of the British Final.

“Nobody who was here for the meeting last year will ever forget the incredible race which decided the title, and this is the sort of action which our track can generate on a regular basis.

“It’s also pleasing to be able to secure a Saturday date for the meeting as I know that was very popular the last time we were able to run at the weekend two years ago.”

With the FIM ATPI Speedway Grand Prix of Manchester taking place before the British Final (June 5/6), proposals for the Wild Card and Track Reserve positions in the SGP will be made by the BSPL Board of Directors to the Speedway Control Bureau.

Final approval and nominations will be made by the SGP commission and communicated in the lead-up to the event.
