BELLE VUE boss Mark Lemon is eager to see his “dynamic duo” back in Manchester.
The ATPI Aces take on Birmingham Brummies in the ROWE Motor Oil Premiership at the National Speedway Stadium on Monday night (June 7).
It will see the return of Brady Kurtz and Dan Bewley after yet another first and third performance in the Grand Prix in Sweden on Saturday night.
Lemon said: “It’s so satisfying as a club to see the dynamic duo Brady and Dan progress to the level they are now at and I see know reason why they both can’t collect a World Championship medal this year the way they are racing. Which colour it will be, will depend on them.
“We now have the best spearhead in British speedway. It’s fantastic to watch them both here every week.”
The ATPI Aces will be without Norick Blodorn after he crashed out of the SGP2 at the weekend and is suffering with a recurring injury.
Lemon added: “It’s disappointing to lose Norick again and we wish him a speedy recovery. It was a nasty crash in Sweden.
“We will cover for him with rider replacement and that served us adequately last week against Ipswich.
“The Brummies management probably haven’t had the reward for the hard work put in. But they still have a very capable side that is capable of giving anyone a very hard meeting. It has been proven time and time again, it’s not wise to underestimate any team in this league.
“It also means a welcome back to the National Speedway Stadium for Matej Zagar. There is little doubt he will get a wonderful reception from us all.
“There’s no doubt he will be Birmingham’s top man and it’s always a pleasure to watch Matej on the top of his game around any circuit, let alone the NSS which he loves.
“The one objective for us is to get another win and pick up the bonus point. Then it’s Leicester next week at the NSS and three away meetings on the bounce.
“It’s a really key month ahead in July. Winning is vital because that equals momentum.”
