BELLE VUE Colts expect to track their full line-up for the first time when they take on the Oxford Chargers.

After a rollercoaster start to the campaign with injuries and issues, it’s a huge boost for the club to field a complete septet for the first time at the National Speedway Stadium on Sunday (1pm).

They take on the Chargers in the WSRA National Development League and Colts co-manager Graham Goodwin explained: “We’ve switched to a Sunday afternoon to help families, and to encourage more children to come along and watch the Colts.

“We also hope the fans will turn out as this is their first chance to see all of the 2025 team together.

“It’s been a nightmare start to the season, losing Mason Watson to injury before we’d turned a wheel, and then losing our newest signings, Jack Kingston to illness, and Harry Fletcher to a broken collarbone, after just one meeting each.

“Thankfully, things are starting to turn around now with both Jack and Mason declaring themselves fit to return.

“Young Harry has now had his collarbone plated, but faces 10-12 weeks on the sidelines, and being just 15-years-old, we don’t want to rush his recovery, hence the reason we have moved to sign Connor King to restore us to a full complement of riders.

“Harry remains very much part of our squad, and will be in the pits on Sunday as younger brother Charlie Fletcher rides in the British Youth 125cc Championship round.

“Thanks to the guests, we have put in good performances and run teams close in our matches so far, but nothing compares to having your full team, and having the boys back from injury will give us a massive lift.”

The Colts meeting with Oxford will be followed by a further 16 heats of racing as Belle Vue host the latest round of the British Youth 125cc Championship
