THE countdown is on to the FIM ATPI Speedway Grand Prix of Manchester – with tickets for an unmissable weekend set to go on sale later this month.

For the second year in succession, the National Speedway Stadium will host the world’s top racers in a sensational two-day spectacular across Friday June 5 and Saturday June 6.

The first Grand Prix events to be held in Manchester last year provided incredible action from start to finish, with home hero Dan Bewley bringing the house down on the Friday night by winning what many regard as the best SGP track action in the 31-year history of the series.

There was more drama the following evening with World Champion Bartosz Zmarzlik just edging out Aces skipper Brady Kurtz for a victory which proved crucial to his eventual sixth title overall.

This year’s events are Rounds 3 and 4 of the series, which gets underway in Germany in early May, and planning is taking place to make the Manchester weekend even bigger and better than in 2025.

Amongst the changes which can be confirmed are earlier opening times for the venue on racedays, along with a revised layout of bars and catering, and an enhanced public address system for the East Stand.

And for those supporters arriving on Friday afternoon, we are pleased to confirm that tickets purchased for that evening’s event will also permit admission to the earlier Qualifying session culminating in the Sprint Race.

Belle Vue CEO Mark Lemon said: “It’s absolutely amazing to get another Grand Prix double-header, and there’s so much to build on from last year.

“Friday’s race action in 2025 was classed as the best Grand Prix ever, so it’s going to take a fair bit to match that!

“But we’ve got the track to do it, so I’m sure we can expect more of the same. I know the riders will be looking forward to coming back here, and we’re looking to put on a great show again.

“We’re working hard to put things in place behind the scenes, including various changes and enhancements aimed at the overall spectator experience, and we’re confident that these will be well received.

“Supporters can expect a new food court area, as well as an enhanced public address system in the East Stand, and that’s a direct result of feedback from last year which we’ve taken account of.

“It’s also pleasing to be able to give Friday ticket holders the opportunity to watch the Sprint Race.”

Tickets for the FIM ATPI Speedway Grand Prix of Manchester will be available later this month, from our dedicated site www.sgpmanchester.com, and as in 2025 there will be an opportunity to purchase two-day tickets at a discounted rate.
