BELLE VUE Speedway will once again host a spectacular FIM Grand Prix double-header in 2026.

The Manchester venue is set to stage two rounds of the World Championship series next on June 5 and 6.

The first-ever ATPI SGPs at the National Speedway Stadium were a popular addition to the calendar last summer with sell-out crowds and the opening night dubbed by legends as the most exciting Grand Prix of all-time.

Belle Vue CEO Mark Lemon said: “As a club we are naturally delighted to be hosting another two Speedway Grand Prix events in Manchester in 2026 on Friday, June 5 and Saturday, June 6.

“It was a massive project to embark on last summer. The first SGP was spectacular for racing and it was particularly satisfying to hear big names like Tony Rickardsson, Greg Hancock and Jason Crump waxing lyrical about Manchester.

“It was the Grand Prix that the fans wanted and it certainly delivered sensational racing. In the end fans from all over the world insisted that it should return to the National Speedway Stadium every season.

“We have to thank our owners Tony Rice and Robin Southwell for their incredible backing to keep Belle Vue on the world stage.

“We’re working on finalising capacity to ensure plenty of spectators can enjoy two rounds in Manchester once again.

“We will be finalising pricing for the two-day events with the aim of going on-sale in the new year.”
