REIGNING Premiership Champions Belle Vue are back to full strength on Monday, July 3 when they welcome Wolverhampton back to the National Speedway Stadium, tapes up 7:30pm.

The ATPI Aces were on the road at Peterborough last week, and after another emphatic display secured three more league points to go seven clear at the top of the league standings.

Then, on Thursday, heat leaders Dan Bewley and Brady Kurtz were crowned Premiership Pairs Champions at Leicester, marking the first time since 2006 that the club had won a pairs event.

Wolverhampton, meanwhile, did not fair so well in the same meeting, with Sam Masters and Steve Worrall finishing overall seventh of seven despite a solid display from the latter.

On Monday, they will again be without American Luke Becker who suffered a hand injury in a recent match in Poland, with rider replacement in effect for the Wolves at No.3.

Belle Vue skipper Brady Kurtz says his side is looking forward to another brilliant meeting with their old rivals and is confident they have the firepower to defeat them.

He said: “Winning the Pairs last week, as well the result we got at Peterborough, will be sending a strong message to all the clubs out there that we really mean business.

“Wolves are always tough customers at our place and I think they will miss Luke but at the same time they’re not going to give anything less than  their best and we need to reciprocate.

“The race for the Play Offs is getting fierce and we are in a good position to consolidate our spot in the top four in the coming weeks, we just need to be consistent and keep doing what we’re doing.”

The ATPI Aces take on the Wolverhampton Wolves at the National Speedway Stadium on Monday, July 3 in Premiership league competition, tapes up at 7:30pm.

And following the main meeting, the club has an additional second half featuring the Women’s Speedway Academy and the Flat Track riders.

Meeting tickets, race day programmes, hospitality and south stand parking are now available to pre-book at bellevue-speedway.com/events.
