Belle Vue take their Premiership title defence on the road this week, starting with their third trip to Wolverhampton’s Monmore Green Stadium on Monday, July 10.

On their last visit to the Black Country the ATPI Aces almost pushed the Parry International Wolves to a Super Heat after a strong display throughout the night.

Now they hope to go one better and finally secure the win on the night, while at the same time ending Wolverhampton’s unbeaten run of victories at home.

The reigning Premiership Champions are back to full strength and hand Connor Bailey his full top flight debut as their new Rising Star, having replaced long-term injury victim Jake Mulford.

The home team, meanwhile remain without Luke Becker who is still suffering the effects of a hand injury picked up in Poland, with rider replacement in effect at No.3.

ATPI Aces racer Norick Blodorn said: “I don’t think anyone expected us to win as heavily as we did at home last week and that was a major confidence boost for the team going into Monday.

“Personally, it was good to be able to gauge my fitness level after those two big crashes because I was a little nervous ahead of that match, but I think that was my best result to date at Belle Vue.

“Wolverhampton aren’t going to make it easy for us when we go back to Monmore Green. They are a powerful team on their home track and we need to be prepared for them.

“But we’ve shown that we have got what it takes to really push them, and I think if we want it badly enough we absolutely can go there and take the win this time.

“We came close last time and all of the boys are set on defending our title, and as long as we’re all firing at the same time I don’t see why we can’t finish the job.”

The ATPI Aces are next in action at Wolverhampton this Monday, July 10 before they head to Ipswich on Thursday, July 13.
