BELLE Vue complete their final fixture of the season ahead of the play offs when they face an injury-hit King’s Lynn on Wednesday, August 28 at the Adrian Flux Arena.

After a busy bank holiday Monday, the ATPI Aces currently sit second in the ROWE Motor Oil Premiership but now have the opportunity to solidify their spot in the top three.

Captain Brady Kurtz, who was ruled out of the Owlerton leg of their bank holiday Monday after feeling the effects of a crash in Poland the previous week, remains sidelined for Wednesday.

His rides will be covered by Rider Replacement with each of his ATPI Aces team mates eligible to fill his shoes should he be called upon to do so.

But regardless, the ATPI Aces remain determined to end on a strong note and to give their rivals food for thought ahead of their league title bid.

Club boss Mark Lemon said: “First and foremost, we have accomplished what we set out to do and that is to make the play offs this year.

“It was disappointing, after such a fantastic fight back in the home leg, to lose as we did at Sheffield but I think we have plenty to work with come the semi-finals.

“But that is finished now. We have one final job to do at the Adrian Flux Arena and we’re in the perfect position to take all three league points.

“King’s Lynn will be wanting to end on a high despite their injury woes and have some good guests to cover their absent riders.

“But I have faith in the boys to step things up and finish the job although being without Brady for the final league fixture will be challenging.”

The Belle Vue ‘ATPI’ Aces complete their 2024 calendar fixtures at King’s Lynn on Wednesday, August 28 after which they then await confirmation of their play off dates and opponent.
