BELLE Vue have 10 points to make up when they travel to Sheffield’s Owlerton Stadium on Thursday, June 20 for the deciding leg of their ROWE Motor Oil Premiership clash with the Tigers.

The two sides last met at the end of May when the ATPI Aces found themselves on the wrong side of a 35-25 final result, after the meeting was called off due to a waterlogged track.

But with Summer now springing to life and the forecast looking much more becoming of June, the Mancunians are confident about their upcoming trip across the Pennines.

They are, unfortunately, still without Captain Brady Kurtz who is continuing ongoing physiotherapy on three torn ankle ligaments after a crash in Sweden last month.

But supporters will not be disappointed with the choice of guest, with British No.4 Chris Harris coming in at No.1 in place of Kurtz for the ATPI Aces at Owlerton.

Aces team boss Mark Lemon said: “While it is disappointing not to have Brady with us, I’m really pleased we have been able to secure Chris Harris’s services for the night.

“We were bitterly disappointed at how the first leg of this meeting ended, especially after all the work put in by the track staff to see it through to Heat 15.

“But that’s done now, and we know what’s expected of us on the night. I truly believe that 10 points is more than doable for the boys to pull back.

“We had an excellent night at Owlerton in the KOC and, for a time, we were leading that match and I firmly believe that we can replicate and improve on that performance.”

The ATPI Aces resume their ROWE Motor Oil Premiership campaign this Thursday, June 20 when they travel to Owlerton Stadium for another War of the Roses clash with the Tigers.

They then take to the shale at the National Speedway Stadium on Monday, June 24 against the Leicester Lions, commencing the second half of their top flight campaign.

Meeting tickets, race day programmes, hospitality and south stand parking are now available to pre-book online at bellevue-speedway.com/events.
