LINE-UPS have been declared for Belle Vue’s big War of the Roses opener against Sheffield in the KO Cup on Monday (March 30, 7.30pm).
The rivals meet at the National Speedway Stadium in the first match of the Northern group, which also features holders Leicester, and only the group winners will qualify for the Final.
ATPI Aces boss Mark Lemon has elected to track new signing Peter Kildemand in the No.3 position, meaning he teams up with Zach Cook in his opening three races.
This means Norick Blodorn retains the No.2 berth, and he starts alongside skipper Brady Kurtz who holds the No.1 slot at the beginning of the season, leaving Dan Bewley to race at No.5, whilst Tate Zischke and William Cairns lines up at reserve.
There’s a very familiar look to the Sheffield side with their only new face being Luke Killeen in the Rising Star berth at No.7.
Their previous Rising Star Leon Flint moved up into the main body of the team last summer, and he lines up at No.4 alongside Chris Holder who was so impressive in the Peter Craven Memorial Trophy.
World No.5 Jack Holder teams up with Anders Rowe as the Tigers’ opening combination, leaving skipper Josh Pickering at No.5 and former Aces rider Jye Etheridge is alongside Killeen at reserve.
