BELLE VUE will stage the first official fixture of the new top-flight campaign with a War of the Roses opener against old rivals Sheffield.

The ATPI Aces host the Tigers at the National Speedway Stadium on Monday March 30 in a Premiership KO Cup match, before visiting Owlerton in the reverse fixture on Thursday April 2.

The KO Cup will operate this season on a mini-league format, with the Aces placed into the Northern group alongside Sheffield and holders Leicester, and only the group winners reach the Final.

Easter Monday (April 6) promises a packed day of racing as the Aces host the Lions at the NSS with a midday start, before making the trip to the Hydroscand Arena, Beaumont Park for the return that evening at 7.30pm.

The Aces kick off their Premiership campaign on Monday April 20 when they host Ipswich in a clash which has thrown up plenty of drama over recent years, whilst further Bank Holiday home fixtures include the visit of newcomers Northampton at midday on Monday May 4.

Meanwhile, Monday May 25 and Monday August 31 will feature home and away doubles against Sheffield in league action, with the Aces hosting as usual at midday before making the trip to Owlerton for the evening fixture.

The first visit to Northampton International Shaleway is pencilled in for Thursday July 9, with a further trip to the Brafield venue on Thursday August 13.

The inclusion of Northampton means the top four teams in the Premiership league table will qualify for the play-offs.
