BELLE Vue head to King’s Lynn on Thursday, April 11 on a major high, where they hope to continue their strong start to the 2024 season at the Adrian Flux Arena.

It marks only the first time this year that the PSH Environmental Stars have raced at home, and only their second time on-track as a unit following a very wet few weeks across the UK.

In their opening fixture of the campaign at Leicester, they battled hard but ultimately went down to a narrow 5-point defeat at the pidcock Motorcycles Arena.

The ATPI Aces meanwhile have enjoyed a successful few weeks and head to Norfolk on the back of a significant home win to the Watling JCB Lions, when they earned their first league points.

That followed their brilliant Easter Monday victory over local rivals Sheffield to give them an 8-point advantage in their Knockout Cup Quarter Final.

The aggregate winner of that competition will lock horns with King’s Lynn in the Semi-Finals, and Thursday’s trip to the Adrian Flux Arena could give Belle Vue a valuable heads up.

Club captain Brady Kurtz said: “We’ve had some pretty good results so far but it’s only early season still and nobody is about to get carried away after two favourable results.

“King’s Lynn is a track that a lot of us ride well, in part because of its similarities to the National Speedway Stadium and in part because we really enjoy riding it.

“You could argue that we slightly have the upper hand due to the fact that King’s Lynn haven’t had as much track time as we’ve had together in the last few weeks.

“But they have some very strong riders and we don’t doubt that they will be determined to put in a strong performance for their first time out at home.

“We need to match them strike for strike if we want to keep things close, but we know we are quite capable of coming away with a win and that is, of course, the goal.”

The ATPI Aces head to King’s Lynn’s Adrian Flux Arena on Thursday, April 11 to continue their pursuit of Premiership points against the Stars.

They return home to the National Speedway Stadium on Monday, April 15 for the return leg against the Norfolk side, tapes up at 7:30pm.

Meeting tickets, race day programmes and south stand parking are now available to pre-book, along with race day hospitality, at bellevue-speedway.com.
